Your name – so I know who I’m talking to
Your email – so we can set up reminders and virtual sessions
Your phone number (optional) – if we need a quick way to chat.
Your IP address – because the internet insists
Website activity – like what pages you visit, how long you hang out
Your internet browser and device type – just so I know if people are visiting from a phone, laptop, or… fridge?
Session notes & transcripts – so I can deliver a great service and help you achieve your goals
None of this is used to track you personally or sell your info — it just helps me see what’s working and what’s not, so I can make the website more ADHD-friendly
To keep things organized, I use a few tools:
Notion – where I (securely) keep your coaching notes that are shared securely and privately with you
Gronola.ai – for automatically transcribing sessions and generating summaries
Google Meet – for our face-to-face-ish sessions
Google Suite – for sending of emails and calendar events
Google Ads & Analytics – to see how my website’s doing
Fillout — to capture information with fancy forms
Framer - to build and provide a great website for you to see my services
All of these are GDPR-compliant or have data processing agreements in place. I checked. Thoroughly. With coffee.
Under the GDPR, I need to tell you my lawful reasons for collecting data. They are:
Consent – you choose what to share and can un-choose any time
Contract – you book a session, I deliver it. Simple.
Legitimate interest – like keeping session notes so I don’t forget what we talked about
You’ve got rights under GDPR, including:
🕵️ Access – want to know what I have on you? Just ask.
✍️ Correction – typo in your name? No prob.
🗑️ Deletion – want me to erase your data? Say the word.
🙅 Restriction/Object – prefer I stop using certain data? Done.
📦 Portability – want your info in a tidy file? Sure thing.
Email me at blaine@sortmyshit.nl to use any of these.
I don’t hoard. I’ll keep your data only as long as needed for coaching, legal, or tax reasons.
Google Analytics data is removed after 12 months
Your info is stored in secure, encrypted systems.
I use strong passwords, 2FA (when available), and don’t leave stuff lying around. Pinky swear.
I use Google Analytics via Google Ads to see how people use my website. It helps me improve it. You can opt out at anytime via your browser settings and on sortmyshit.nl
If I ever change how I handle data (which is rare), I’ll update this page and let you know. No sneaky business.
I value your trust and take your privacy seriously, even if I joke around a bit. If anything here is unclear, confusing, just shoot me an email and I’ll explain it in plain English.
Thanks for reading. You’ve already done more than most people do when they see a Privacy Policy link 😄
